What do you mean by "work with Native Americans" ?
If you plan to do anything that is truely honest and sincere, that will
help and better the understanding between two peoples. Then I could
suggest that you contact the Native American agency in your local area.
But if this is just so that you can get your dagree, don't bother!
To many times have there been people coming into the lives of the
people saying that they are here to help us and in reality all that
they truely wanted was to use us for their own personal gains. We
are not some kind of scientific test tube or experiment to be played
with for extra credit. This causes more harm than good!
I am not trying to judge you. I just want you to understand that
you are asking to enter into a very sensitive area and it is an
area that you just can't walk away from when you are finished.
