follows message
Ing. Gabriele Cagliari
ENI President
Dott. Pasquale De Vita
AGIP Petroli President
Following letter dated 14/7/92 by Sidney Possuelo, President of
the FUNAI (Fundacao Nacional do Indio) that answers to your
request dated 11/5/92 and reaffirms the will of the Brazilian
government to implement the demarcation of the Xavante Indigenous
area,
worried by the total inertia of Agip and by the news about the
sale of the Suia Missu ranch,
we URGE ENI and Agip to keep to the commitments publicly taken,
restituting in short deadline land of Suia Missu identified as
Indigenous Area "Maraiwatsede" to the Xavante community,
according to the ways and means suggested by FUNAI
Best regards
