Hello there. I am a non-Indian college student at Princeton. My major
is Religion with a concentration in Native American Studies. I am writing
this posting to request any information you might have about opportunities
for me to spend a term working on a Reservation.

Okay, here is Renee's hopelessly idealistic plan for the way her life will
work over the next year. If you have any ideas or contacts that you think
might help me, please e-mail me. The plan:

Having completed 2 1/2 years of college, ready for the Spring term of her
junior year, in which Renee has to come up with some sort of astounding 50
page independent paper that has some relation to her major, Renee receives
a piece of e-mail from a kind soul who introduces her to a program by
which Renee is able to do the following: She goes to an Indian Reservation and
student teaches from January-ish to July-ish, during which time she learns
a lot and hopefully contributes something to the people with whom she
comes into contact. Princeton magnanimously agrees to give her a few
course credits for the amazing papers that she comes up with. Meanwhile,
she makes a bit of money to live by (Remember, this is the ideal version -
realistically, I'm not looking for money.).

Something along those lines, anyway. If you can help me out, or if you
know of anyone who might help me, pleeeeeeeeeease let me know.

Thanks in advance,
Renee
