wpc=elders of the lakota sioux nation have urged concerned citizens
to contact congress immediately to defeat resolution 9285 which would take
away the sacred wounded knee site to make a national park. this would no
longer then be indian land and would give mineral rights to the government.
600 sioux would be displaced. their homeswould be condemned. no provisions
