Resist 2 Militarism articles wantd

I'm the editor of The Objector: Journal of Draft and Military
Information. It is a journal sent to activists working to help
people in the military get out of the military, to promote
alternatives to joining the military among young people, and to
provide information and support to those facing the draft and
draft registration. I'm compiling a special issue (who isn't?)
this fall on 500 years of resistance to militarism and violence.
I'm wondering if you know of some pieces (500 - 2000 words) that
relate to:
1) traditions of nonviolence within various indigenous cultures.
2) the history of nonviolent resistance to military conquest.
3) Resistance to the draft and economic conscription into the
military.
4) contemporary resistance to the militarization of cultures.
5) resistance to military recruiters.

If you don't know of articles I could reprint, are there
people who I coult interview or ask to write that you think would
