UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SANTA BARBARA announces an opening
at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of
Sociology effective July 1, 1993. This position is in the
area of sociology of culture, and subspecialties are open.
Potential for excellence in scholarship and teaching is
necessary, and a Ph.D. is normally required at the time of
