I was the author of that message. Elizabeth posted it for me,
since I personally have no access to NativeNet. The reference to
the tribes who requested termination of their special trust relation-
ship (the Peoria, Ottawa, Wyandotte, and Confederated Tribe of the
Colville Reservation) is from the Watkins article. I can give you no
more information on any of them other than the addresses of the tribal
headquarters of the first three:

Ottawa Tribe Peoria Tribe
P.O. Box 110 P.O. Box 1527
Miami, OK 74355 Miami, OK 74355
Phone: 918-540-1536 Phone: 918-540-2535

Wyandotte Tribe
P.O. Box 250
Wyandotte, OK 74370
Phone: 918-678-2297

All three tribes are located in the northeastern corner of
Oklahoma. The fact that they maintain tribal headquarters must mean
that their tribal status is recognized, at least by that state.
Perhaps someone else on the list can give you the address for the
Confederated Tribe of the Colville Reservation in Washington State.

Hope this helps.
