Dave asked about materials by Oren Lyons.

I did a quick check of OCLC, a database of library holdings from
across the US and Canada. Many of the works I found by Oren
Lyons are children's books. Sometimes he is the author,
sometimes the illustrator. I also found a videotape of the
interview with Bill Moyers Dave saw:

THE FAITHKEEPER. New York : Mystic Fire Video, 1991. 58 min.
VHS format.

I also found an audiocassette by Chief Lyons:

THE NATURAL WORLD, PRINCIPLES AND TREATIES. Rooseveltown, NY :
Akwesasne Notes, Mohawk Nation, 1976? 1 cassette, 2 track, mono.

I was fortunate enough to hear Chief Lyons in person in 1987. He
spoke in the Rotunda at the University of Virginia, and his topic
was the influence of the Iroquois form of government on the US
Constitution. It was part of the bicentennial celebration. He
was an extraordinary speaker. My one regret was that I didn't go
up and talk to him after the lecture.
