Grosvenor's mail reminded me of a quest I have long ago abandoned
(my mail may not have gotten through at the time, years ago). But: in the
Indian Truth issue, no. 260, Dec. 1984, there was a note on the Native
American Research Information Service (NARIS) at the University of Oklahoma
that has "announced the development of a computerized research information
service of studies done by, for, and about Indians. The service contains a
catalog of more than 5000 research studies on Indians dating back to
1969.... " Does anyone in the list know about this e-catalog? Perhaps it
is available and has been updated?
