Enclosed for your information is a copy of a justifiably indignant
letter to Canadian Indian Affairs Minister Tom Siddon regarding the
federal government's latest so-called Lubicon "offer".

Noted copies of such letters should be sent to opposition politicians
as well in order to generate some discussion in Parliament about the
Mulroney government's blatantly manipulative and deceitful handling
of the continuing Lubicon tragedy.

November 04, 1992, letter to Federal Indian Affairs Minister Tom
Siddon from Project North -- Vancouver

Mr. Siddon:

We were deeply offended by your recent media portrayal of the
"Revised Lubicon offer". How is it possible for you, as a
representative of the people of Canada, to count as part of a
settlement to Native Bands, the value of reserve lands which they
will RETAIN? If ever there was a perversion of justice, such
arrogance must top the list!

We would very much appreciate your personal response to this. Please
spare us the indignity of your propaganda packets.
