BLM ATTACK ON SHOSHONE

Kevin Duff of Big Mountain Support Group has contacted local
supporters in San Luis Obispo and reported that the BLM has
renewed efforts to move the Dann family and other Shoshone from
their ancestral homes. Again, the BLM has taken up cattle rus-
tling as their main weapon against these families. After public
outcry, including efforts on APC networks and a PBS special
report, the BLM had suspended this action until now.

The situation appears to be urgent, and any help in getting the
word out would be appreciated. Suggestions as to who supporters
could contact: fax numbers, phone numbers, addresses etc would
also help. Perhaps someone out there has a contact on the Clinton
transition team who could help???
