It might be a fictitious story line but the background is all too true. It is
based on true events that occured on Pine Ridge and Rosebud Reservations in
South Dakota in the mid-70's. Our government funneled millions of dollars into
a corrupt tribal council and the tribal council did employ GOONS to wipe out
traditionals and AIM people. For a good book on this, see "In the Spirit of
Crazy Horse", by Peter Mathensan (sp??)
