I have received reports today (Thursday) that indicate perhaps we
should wait before taking any further actions in support of Tom's
request. I think we will need more information which explains and
confirms Tom's account, and which recommends specific action. I will
pass on any additional information that I receive, and urge others
to do likewise, particularly anything that gives more detail on
the situation at Sept-Isles, Quebec or that advises authoritatively
what action is being requested, and on whose behalf the request is
being made, and with what authority.
