For those of us in the San Francisco Bay Area:
Thomas Banyacya, Hopi Elder, will speak on Sunday, December 6 1992 in
Berkeley on the Hopi Prophecy and the 1993 UN year of Indigenous People.
The event will take place at Unitas House, at the corner of Bancroft Way
and College Avenue, at 8:30 pm. A sliding-scale admission of 5-20 dollars
will be asked at the door, with no one turned away for lack of funds. Proceeds
will go to pay Thomas' expenses for his speaking tour and his trip to the UN.
A reception for Thomas and the SF Bay native community will also take place
