Russell Means, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the American
Indian Anti-Defamation Council (AIADC) will convene a press
conference to discuss the federal lawsuit by the Anti-Defamation
League of B'nai B'rith attacking the existence and the work of the
American Indian Ant-Defamation Council.
The lawsuit was filed on December 10, 1992, in the federal district
court in Denver. The AIADC was served with court papers on Monday,
December 14, 1992.
In response to the filing of the lawsuit, Russell Means has stated that
AIADC has been advised by legal counsel to take the legal offensive in
protecting its work in the defense of American Indian people. Details
will be provided at the press conference.
