[ Let's not get into a knock-down, drag-out battle over this issue,
folks. That's what the NATCHAT list is for. The question here is
not that of whether we agree with the Maoists or their agenda, but
whether we should pass on their articles or not. In future, I will
not pass on articles which do not address this subject, and which
go into what I consider unnecessary argumentation not directly
related to that issue - solely on the grounds that NATIVE-L is not
intended for discussion. I just want to get some help deciding
this issue of whether or not to relay the articles from the Maoists.
Thanks for your cooperation. --Gary ]

Say what? I'm not blaming them for the failures of the SDS .... I'm just
pointing out that radical groups/tactics seldom are successful at their goals
and usually turn the mainstream AGAINST the group they are "attempting" to aid
IF IN FACT THE ARE ACTUALLY TRYING TO HELP THIS GROUPS OF NATIVES, AND NOT
SIMPLY TRYING TO GLORIFY THEIR OWN EXISTENCE.

Let us all pray that what Mao did to China isn't an indication of what the
Maoists are 'trying' to "do for Latin America" .... better they should be
left to their own defense than be sucked up by something far worse than
what they have to cope with now ...

Definitely ... the truth of what Maoists did to China is still with us ....
