I agree with Lyn about the purpose of the Moist group "Sendero
Luminoso". But comming from Latin America, and I have live in Peru some time
ago, is other groups that use the Indians as well they call themselves
Missionaries, and they teach the Indians to hate their own. And if you live
in the jungle and have these groups telling you what to do or believe is very
confussing, so the Incas of the Andes and the Amazon have the Missionaries
in one place, the Sendero Luminoso, in other and the they are hungry, because
a foreign country irrigate their little plantation to kill the Cocaine, the
army is killing them, raping their women, and you have to choose to die, hun-
gry, in the hands of the army, or become civilize, go to church and hate your
people. some of them believe in "El Sendero Luminoso" as the last solution.

How dificult is to live in the jungle. sorry, perhaps my English is not good
enough to explain why Sendero Luminoso is important for some Indigenous people
