Does anyone out there on the Net remember the case of Clayton Lonetree, the
soldiar who was convicted of espionage in the Soviet Union, and is still
presently in jail somewhere in the soviet union? After reading the notice
from AIM, I thought there should be a letter writing campaign to bring him
home to the US, since the Soviet Union does not exist anymore, and Clayton
was just a scapegoat for the army. I don't know the current status of his
case, and if anyone out there knows what's happening, please let the Net
know. I'd like to write to President CLinton to consider a pardon for him,
and bring him home to the US.
