I suggest that anyone without much background looking to obtain information
about Aboriginal Australians might begin by contacting the Australian Insti-
tute of Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islanders Studies, PO Box 553,
Canberra, ACT 2601 Australia. They have an extensive library and film
collection (not for borrowing) as well as a journal, Australian Aboriginal
Studies. The sources for media, depending on what one wants, are many and
probably hard to obtain without better contacts. There are many many
Aboriginal organizations, but I am not sure how many -- if any -- one
could contact via Email. Mostly, people involved in activism are fairly
busy but there is a good deal of publically oriented information.
