Recently, I relayed to the NATIVE-L and NATCHAT mailing lists an article
from Jan Isley reminding readers of the ongoing voting process for the
Usenet "soc.culture.native" newsgroup. Due to an error on my part, the
correct return address for submitting a vote to Jan was not attached to
that article.
However, this article DOES carry the correct address. To vote for the
proposal (which I, as NativeNet facilitator would like to urge you to do),
or to vote against it, you can just use the "reply" function of your mail
system.
Please consult the recently-posted "CFV" (call for vote) article for the
specifics of the proposal. I am supporting it on the grounds that it has
the potential to enlarge and strengthen the NativeNet community.
To vote for the measure, please include the text:
I vote YES on creation of soc.culture.native as proposed.
either in the "Subject:" line or the body of your message. To vote against
it, use:
I vote NO on creation of soc.culture.native as proposed.
I would like to encourage you to vote NOW - while you're thinking of it.
Thanks much.
Gary
