Today's AP news says that 3 cases in other states, one in NC, one in Utah
and one in Kansas MAY be linked to this illness. The person who has it
in NC visited the Southwest recently.

It also said "The confirmed cases involve 12 Indians, five whites and one
Hispanic. Eight Indians, two whites and the Hispanic died. The
youngest to die was a 13-year-old girl."
