Dear Sir,

COMPLAINT AGAINST STARVATION

I wish on my behalf and on behalf of my Ogoni compatriots, Mr. N.G. Dube and
Kobari Nwile to draw your attention to the fact that since our arrival here
on Wednesday 23rd June, 1993, we have only been fed three meals: dinner on
Friday 25th, breakfast on Saturday 26th and breakfast on Sunday 27th. All
requests for meals have received negative answers.

I believe that we are entitled to three meals a day and we require all
meals. Already, my health is in decline as I am under instruction to have
specific meals in consideration of my health. At my age, hunger is
destructive, starvation kills. I hope that I was not brought here in order
to starve me to death.

I hereby humbly request you to have us fed on a regular base or else allow
us to return to our homes. There is, indeed, no reason to keep us here as we
have committed no crime and have not been charged with any.

Yours faithfully,

(signed)

Ken Saro-Wiwa
