Like Steve Lucas, I am adopted, but I'm also on the Oneida tribal role. It
took a 9 month court battle to get the state to open up my adoption records
but they finally did, and as my bio-mother was verifiable, I was put on too.
I don't know if Steve would want to go that route, but it worked in my case.
I don't know how to help out William, but I'll check it out...
