It was great to see the re-post requesting letters in support of Clifford Dann
who is now incarcerated at Lompoc Federal Penitentiary (where Peltier
initially served time.) The letters are urgently needed and will make a
difference, particularly if Carrie and Mary Dann receive copies. They
need to hear from us for spiritual support.
I am a Dine' journalist and a friend of the Danns who has covered the
struggles of the Dann Family for the past three years for many Native
newspapers. I have accumulated a mass of information and stories that I'm
willing to share with those who want to know more. I'm also interested in
tips on other indigenous issues that need coverage.
