What kind of business organization do tribes setup to handle casinos?
I have heard everything from setting up independent operations organizations
to the tribal council handling it all.
How are outside contractors hired? Are casinos management teams the
best way to go?
What about training? A lot of people working at these new casinos
will need to be trained to do jobs that they have never done before. In
addition to learning the tasks of card dealing, working a roulette wheel, etc.
an ethic needs to be tough regarding serving customers and with handling large
sums of money. Are casino managers addressing this seriously or are they just
using the threat of job loss for non-performance as a motivator?
Is any casino operator looking at quality control measures for this
industry?
If any of you out there have any first hand experience with this
please get in contact with me. Please feel free to pass on this message to
anyone you know that might be interested.
Thanks
Bill----
