We received three offers of modems last week and I'm sure that
one of them will work for the Law Institute. Thank you all.

[I usually refrain from personal messages in the newsgroups,
however, I can't seem to reach Dusti L. Lewars (elionwyr@onix.com).
Pease contact me if you still have a modem to give. Thanks.]

Each time we at Alpha Institute have posted a request for
assistance, the response has been quick and positive. Thanks to
people donating equipment (or funds designated for equipment),
Thomas Banyacya's family now has a computer with a fax-modem
for Hopi Central. We also have a computer for Tony Black Feather
of the Teton Sioux Treaty Council.

We frequently receive e-mail asking, "What is Alpha Institute?"
Here is a copy of our brochure. We are an all-volunteer
organization.

while maintaining their own identity.

-to benefit by sharing experiences on a common ground.

-to encourage and assist positive interactions among world
communities.

-to enhance the effectiveness of other public oriented groups by
educating them in the capabilities of computer systems.

-to collect surplus equipment and distribute it to various
non-profit organizations.
