We are expecting a visit from Sherry Salway Black next week. We
know that she is the Vice President of the First Nations
Development Institute and a member of the Oglala Lakota tribe.
We would be interested in knowing a little more about her so that
we can welcome her appropriately. To us Maori, welcomes are an
important cultural event where geneological ties are presented,
and important issues are discussed. Anything you can
tell us about her background would be appreciated, both
her geneological and her work background.
