I'm trying, without much success to date, to obtain a list of the
Indigenous-run publications in Canada, especially newspapers and magazines
with articles on current political and social events directly affecting
Aboriginal people in Canada.
I'm a subscriber to three Aboriginal publications at the moment and have a
list of several more, a list of Aboriginal communications societies that are
members of NACS (the National Aboriginal Communications Society), and the
listings in ARROWFAX (National Aboriginal Directory). I would be willing to
put this list together here where it could be consulted by anyone wanting to
subscribe to, advertise in, or just communicate with these publications.
Once online, this list could then be updated by anyone in the know.
However, if anyone knows of an existing list, please let me know and save me
the work.
