Arapaho Festival

The Arapaho Cultural Festival starts Sept. 24 and will run through Sept.26.
Featured will be the Northern Arapaho's oral historians, storytellers,
dancers, drummers and artisians.
Authentic art will be displayed and sold on the Downtown Boulder Mall.
Many of the participants will be from the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming.
Storytelling will take place at the Boulder Bookstore and Art Mart will
be displaying Native American art.
It will not only be educatioinal, it will be an opportunity for the mem
bers of the reservation to be exposed to other people. Some of them are
internationally known artists, but they have never been off the reservation.
Other events will take place around town starting Sept. 20 that include art
exhibitions, presentations, performances and talks.
