Dagmar -- Please see the Bowker publication, _Encyclopedia of Associations_,
which is available in most public & academic libraries and lists by keyword
and name just about every organization you might ever want to know about.
This publication is available in print and cd-rom versions, is easy to use,
and gives at least the following information for each association listed:
name; address; phone #; FAX #; e-mail address; when founded; # of members;
# of staff; Size of budget; *description*/*purpose*; publications;committees;
*conventions*/*meetings*; etc.
I did a very cursory search in the 28th ed. (1994 -- 3 vols.) and
found the following (BUT DO NOT LIMIT YOURSELF TO THESE; PLEASE DELVE INTO
IT YOURSELF TO FIND MANY OTHERS -- You may want to request that your company
purchase the _Encyclopedia of Associations_ if your corporate library does
not have it in their collection.); I replicated a full entry of one listing
just to show the info. the _Encyclopedia ..._ covers. -- Have fun! -- Gaele
