If we believe what Fenton says at various conferences, the Iroquois
Confederacy doesn't even exist anymore. Rather than refer to
these anthros, you would be infinitely better off contacting a Mohawk
Nation about issues such as membership. Ordinarily, Ron (not Robert)
LaFrance would be a good contact at the "up and coming" Indian
Program at Cornell University, but he has stepped down as the director
to finish his PhD in education. You might still call there for information.
