The information that I have about the Inuu on Parliament Hill is that they
left after getting a VERBAL committment from an Indian Affairs offical
that their concerns would be dealt with. It wasn't the Minister, as she
is campaigning in her riding.

Frankly, I'm a little distressed by this, knowing how strong the Innu have
been in pressing their issues, whether it was low-level flying or solvent
abuse or relocation.

I think if you caontact the Assembly of First Nations, the Naive Council
of Canada or The Stone Angel Institute, you may get some more information.
