The Weekend Australian (4-5 Dec) reports that the West
Australian Land (Titles and Traditional Usage) Bill:
...the legislation, which was rushed through the
government-controlled Upper House, was sped to the
Governor for assent on Thursday night.
Native title has now been extinguished in Western Australia by
the Land (Titles and Traditional Usage) Act.
