While attending Haskell in 80-81, I remember being given a handout that
looked to be a reprint or copy of an old newspaper that told of the first thank
sgiving. I remember it said something like there were a few settlers killed by
Indians, and that the pilgrims or whoever went out and wiped out a village in
revenge. The europeans then sat down to a feast of thanksgiving.
This handout was given to us by the teacher. But I dont remember any
details as to what paper it was in. And I have never heard of anything similar
since.
Any other former haskellites out there remember somethhing similar? The
teacher's name was Harjo, if anyone knows him can ask him about it. He wasn't
teaching there when I went back in 88.
