Position: Native American Studies Librarian
Institution: U of California-Berkeley
Location: California

Library: Native American Studies Librarian. Assistant or
Associate Librarian. (Salary Range: $29,964-$43,992). Duties:
Under the general supervision of the Head of the Ethnic
Studies Libraries, the librarian directs and supervises all
operations for the Native American Studies Library, one of
three libraries in the Ethnic Studies Department of the
University of California at Berkeley. Works to further the
goals of the three Ethnic Studies Libraries. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited
institution. Coursework in or equivalent knowledge of Native
American cultures, histories, and literatures. Familiarity
with or willingness to learn about library issues concerning
other ethnic cultures, including Chicano/Latino, Asian
American and African-American. Send letter of application
