Does anyone, including the sender of this message, know how I can get a copy
of the tribal court decision protecting the Klukwan artifacts. This is
truly a great victory and the opinion should be disseminated as widely
as possible. Many tribal judges are beginning to struggle with these kind
of issues. Having the opinion of another tribal court judge would be
invaluable. If the court opinion is too long to go out over the net, some
of us could make hard copies and make them available via snail-mail. I'd
even volunteer to have the opinion typed and uploaded to a bulletin board
like the Indian Law Defense Network in Iowa as well as post it to the net.
The Indian Law Reporter publishes some tribal court opinions; I hope
this one will get published.
