I'm a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and I need information
on the Federacion Interprovincial de Centros Shuar-Achuar located in south
eastern Ecuador. Sources, contacts in Ecuador, all will be appreciated.

I am also in need of information on indigenous federations of this type in
the Amazon basin area. Again, good books, recent news, contacts, all are
welcome.

A similar question was recently asked by Gina Castillo, which was answered
today by a reply from Anick Bernard (anick%abyayala@igc.apc.org), who works
at a cultural center in Quito. He says they have a museum and a library
containing 15000 volumes. I will pass on a copy of that message, sent
here by mistake, to Gilles, since I'm sure Anick will be happy to help
him.
