An item on the radio news here (New Zealand) this morning suggested
something of a retreat on the HGDP, and I'd be interested to know if it's
correct. As I understood it, the suggestion was that there was NO intention
to take samples from peoples in Papua New Guinea (that was the one place
mentioned specifically). Rather, the intention was to use solely US located
populations for the sample.

What is going to be the range of the sampling?
