First of all, you say that you have sent letters to GQ, local newspapers,
and spoken openly about this issue.
I would be more than willing to also do all of the above, if I felt
properly informed. I can't write to object to something I am not well
enough informed about.
Also, it is obvious, (or at least seems so to me), that you have to work
hard to keep Sheriff Hubert Stone from becoming US Marshall. (Save our
souls...heavens...!). Publish the address I can write to, and I will
write and object, vehemently. And so will the people I plan on talking
to, when I have some information about the case. I cannot fight
blindly. I must fight on the side of justice.
Start giving people the information to work with, and people will work.
I cannot speak for others, but if no-one else comes through, (or hasn't
already), and you don't get many responses, try my private email address.
This is just the sort of thing that many American Indians can come
through on, in Unity. I realize that I don't have all the information on
this case, but I can't help but feel the need to ask, "How many more
Leonard Peltier's do we need?", before people get together QUICKLY, and
try to stop what is happening. I don't know if this boy is innocent, and
am just as concerned for the Black boy. Minorities are minorities, and
oppression is oppresion, and I don't give a damn what color someone's
skin is. This infuriates me.
