The Student Alliance of North American Indians will be holding its
Third Annual Pow-Wow at the University of California, Santa Cruz on May 14-
15, 1994. Host drum will be Fly-in-Eagle (Cutknife, Saskatchewan). Canadian
host drum will be Blackstone (Sweetgrass, Saskatchewan). Local host drum is
All Nations. Master of Ceremonies is Alvin Windy Boy (Chippewa Cree), and
Arena Director is Gary Middle Rider (Blackfeet). There will be categories
in Northern Traditional, Southern Straight, Grass, and Fancy for Men, and
Northern Traditional, Southern Traditional, Jingle, and Fancy for Women.
The Pow-Wow will be located on the East Field at the UC Santa Cruz
campus. Grand Entries will be on Saterday at 1pm and 7pm, and on Sunday at
