ANNOUNCEMENT
Wind and Glacier Voices II:
The Native American Film and Media Celebration
May 6 -12, 1994
Walter Reade Theatre, Lincoln Center, New York City
"Wind and Glacier Voices" (which premiered in 1992) is a Native-
run film festival, the first in the U.S. to showcase film and
video that is exclusively Native-written, directed, or produced. The
festival organizers are the American Indian Community House,
American Indian Law Alliance, Association on American Indian
Affairs, WNYC-TV, Film Society of Lincoln Center, and Learning
Alliance.
Film Selection Committee: Marta Carlson (Yurok), Elvira &
Hortensia Colorado (Chichimec), Gloria & Muriel Miguel
(Kuna/Rappahannock), and Sue Seven (Nez Perce).
Guests will include Tantoo Cardinal, Graham Greene, Gary Farmer,
Michael Horse, Sheila Tousey, Chief Jake Swamp, Fidel Moreno,
Victor Masayesva, Hanay Geiogamah, Beverly Singer, and Harriet
Skye.
