"Clinton@Whitehouse.gov" works as well as president@whitehouse.gov. In both
cases, you get a response from the "whitehouse autoresponder" thanking you for
your message and assuring you that your opinion has been noted, tabulations
passed on to the President, together with the text of a sample of messages (who
decides? how are they selected? who knows! maybe it's like a lottery and
everyone has a chance?). Anyway, now is a good time to try it out, for Leonard
Peltier, for trying to convince the govt. not to cut Indian Health Service's
budget (if anything, give them more $!)...lots of good reasons, and at the
moment the President is getting lots of media points for listening to Native
concerns--so he wants to talk about it but your input tells him you expect
action, not just talk.
