Eric,
The National Archives of the United States has some records
on the Coushatti. One would have to travel to Ft. Worth, TX,
in order to use them at the archives there since they are
all original records. The following is a quotation from
"The Guide to Records in the National Archives of the
United States Relating to American Indians."

Anadarko Area Office
The Anadarko Area Office, established in 1948, is essentially
a continuation of the Kiowa Agency, created in 1864 and
permanently located in Indian Territory in 1869. After
the Wichita Agency was merged with it in 1878, the Kiowa
Agency, for some years usually called the Kiowa, Comanche,
and Wichita Agency, was responsible for Kiowa, Comanche,
Kiowa-Apache, Delaware, Caddo, Wichita and affiliated
Indians, and, later, Fort Sill Apache. In more recent
years the agency had some responsibilities for the Alabama-
Coushatti Indians of Texas.

The records, 1881-1925 (1,532 ft. in FARC Fort Worth)
include general correspondence and correspondence
concerning lands, heirship, townsites and schools;
accounts and case files for individual Indians; land
transaction files; annuity payrolls; annual reports;
and records of employees.
