1) The UW-Milwaukee gopher server will change to <alpha1.csd.uwm.edu> soon;
there was a README message in the first screen.
>Glenn Welker posted an announcement on June 29, saying that a Native
>American Curriculum Resource Guide is available from the University of
>Wisconsin at the address csd4.csd.uwm.edu.
There is also a good deal of Native American information (curriculum, as
well as other items
of interest) in the UW-Madison WISCINFO gopher. Access to this is by typing...
gopher wiscinfo.wisc.edu
Then...
Choose Search All Titles
At the Prompt, type
Native American
Then choose from the items on the menu.
>From WISCINFO you can also reach the UW-Milwaukee (and other Wisconsin
servers) by...
Choose 12 UW-Madison & UW-System Information servers
Choose 26 UW-System Gopher Servers
Choose 4 UW-Milwaukee Gopher (Academic)
Then follow the directions in the post by David Moore.
>From WISCINFO (and from most other gophers) you can also choose an option
to "Search all Gopher Space"; if you choose that, you may also type
"NATIVE AMERICAN" at the prompt and see where you go from there. Happy
Gopher Hunting!
