WALK FOR JUSTICE
Tuesday, July 12, 1994 we will be holding a CANDLELIGHT VIGIL
at the site of the proposed Disney's America from 8 to 10:00 p.m.
at the junction of Interstate 66 and Route 15 (Haymarket Exit).
We encourage everyone to bring your family and friends and join
in the circle around the Disney site and to hold a silent
candlelight vigil in opposition to Disney's America.
We will honor the spirits of the people who lived at this site
starting 8,000 years ago, including the Piscataway, the Waverly
Plantation Slaves, the civil war soldiers who died here and the
slaves who were freed.
The WALK FOR JUSTICE is a spiritual walk that started in Sacramento,
California last February. People are walking to raise awareness
of Native American issues including treaty rights, human rights,
religious rights and environmental issues.
