JOB OPPORTUNITY
REPORTER/PRODUCER FOR "NATIONAL NATIVE NEWS"
Alaska Public Radio Network

Ready to test your skills? Looking for an oportunity to work on a
national broadcast? There's a great job for a journalist open in
Alaska -- and I'm searching for just the right person.

An immediate opening on the country's only daily, national Native
American news program. This 10-minute program is carried on more than
170 public radio stations nationwide.

We're looking for a strong journalist who knows Native American issues
inside out. While a news background is essential, a radio background
isn't, since we're willing to provide training. The Reporter/Producer
is responsible for producing a 5-minute news portion of "National
Native News" -- assigning, acquiring, and editing material from
reporters across the country, as well as providing original news stories.
This position has a lot of responsibility and requires a steady and
independent worker.

If this sounds like the right move for you, or someone you know, drop me
a line or call me at (907)263-7470. I'd love to hear from you. If I'm
unavailable, you can also speak with NNN Host/Producer D'Anne Hamilton.

Regards,
K.J. Worbey, Managing Editor
