I am wondering if anyone can help me (and my students) out. I am currently
teaching an undergraduate composition course here at the U of Arizona, and
David Seals' _Powwow Highway_ is among our texts. We would very much like
to find out where we could get some more information on the author and/or on
the making of the subsequent film starring A Martinex and Gary Farmer (ca
1987). So far we have found very little on the film--just a review from
Newsweek or Time--and nothing on the author. In particular, any information
explaining why Seals wrote a screenplay, but why that screenplay was not used
for the film, would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
