NativeNet: problems persist

I regret having to report that the problems about which I told you yesterday
are still with us - the link between my system "gnosys" and the "bu.edu"
machine at Boston University is still not operating, and I have been unable
to get a response from the technical support staff there, so I do not know
how serious the problem might be or how long it will be before it is fixed.
In order to take advantage of the otherwise "dead air" - I will continue to
pass on any interesting-looking items that have not previously been posted
that have been languishing in my system queues for the past several months
for one reason or another. I am assuming that articles that have been sent
by members of the NativeNet lists (NATIVE-L, NATCHAT, NAT-LANG, NAT-EDU,
NAT-HLTH) will be delivered here once the problem is resolved - but if the
problem persists beyond three days, it is likely that such articles will be
returned. If something you sent to one of the lists or to me personally is
sent back to you, please hold on to it until I give the "all clear" signal,
at which time you can re-send it. I regret the inconvenience to you.
I'd also like to mention that the address I gave last night for information
about the APC systems was incorrect. I am now trying to find the correct
address for APC and individual member systems. I'll pass on that information
as soon as I get it.
If you have any important communications for me, please use the address
"gst@alice.terc.edu"
I'll keep you all advised.
Gary
