Indian Motorcycles is from an American company that florished from about
1915 to about 1955 (not sure of the exact dates). They were one of the
companies to survive for a long time, but now only Harley is left. The
motorcyles were well built and there are many still operating today.
Definitely a collector's item.

The resurgence of Indian collectibles has seemed to mushroom much as the
Harley logo goods. It is more a fad than anything (like the recent
popularity in expensive Harleys as status objects).
