I believe what you found is:
sad to say an American company who still makes the only "made in the USA"
motorcyles called Harley-Davidson. One of their bikes, not sure if it was the
first, was called "The Indian" hence the logo with Plains Indian head over
the "Hog" -- old name for Harley-Davidson.

This bike was associated with the "Hell's Angles,"a rough gang that had
"Chapters" throughout the US who raised H_ _ _! but the bike has now become a
Yuppie bike too. The Hell's Angle's aren't so Bad anymore yet still around.

Indian is in no way related to
Harley-Davidson. They are two
seperate companies. Just for
info, my biker buddies tell me that
Indian is going to produce new bikes
for the 94-95 model year.
